Bible Journaling- Matters of the Heart

Bible Journaling is about combining Faith and Art. It's about giving people another way to approach the Bible. This is about using your gift of creativity to Glorify God. We are finding through Bible Journaling people are connecting to His Word in a whole new way. We will focus on one verse at a time and allow God to inspire you creatively. This process has been so freeing for me and I crave to be in the Word connecting to God everyday.
So what will we do in this Bible Journaling class? Well we will start by opening up our Bibles and then we'll get creative! A journaling Bible that has 2-inch margins is preferable, but any Bible will work or a journal of any type. We will then cover three different verses on matters of the heart. With each verse I will teach a different technique for you to use. We will be using paints, distressed inks, stickers, scrapbook papers and uniquely designed tools made for Bible journaling. The class will come with a kit used to create three different Bible Layouts. You will leave this class inspired to illustrate your faith on your own, while using some unique techniques learned from the class.
We will have three hours to dig into the Word, and while worship music is playing we will let God speak to us through these verses and then let our creativity become a part of worshipping God. It will be a fun time creating in God's Word together.
