Are You Caught Up?

Stacy Julian, of Big Picture Scrapbooking, has created an online course called A Library of Memories that relieves the pressure of "feeling" like you need to catch up.

This class is so motivating and inspirational that we at Treasured Memories want everyone to share in this powerful new way of scrapbooking.

Our instructor, Molly McCarthy, took this class in 2007 and found it to be life changing (no exaggeration). She is once again taking the course in 2008 and would like to form a TM Library of Memories Group that will meet to discuss this new approach throughout the course and keep each other motivated and on task. Molly will act as moderator for this group and there is no fee to join.

Stacy only offers this course once a year. It begins February 28, 2008 and ends 16 weeks later. This class is a commitment - but well worth every step.

1. Go to Big Picture Scrapbooking and read the course syllabus.


2. Register for this class online at Big Picture Scrapbooking on Saturday, January 12th at 1pm (don't be late, this class will fill up quickly).


3. Send Molly an email at molly@treasuredmemoriesca.com to let her know you are in the class and would like to join the group. We will have our first meeting the last week of January.


4. Treasured Memories will give all LOM 2008 students 10% off all supplies needed to complete your own Library of Memories.

January 2008 Newsletter

It's January 2008! I honestly don't know where 2007 went! Gone in a flash... Amazing. A new year, a new store location and a new beginning for Treasured Memories!

What's new you might ask? As we enter into our 11^th year in business, we are moving forward with some new things for the store. We will be hosting more specialty crop events, premiering the TM Open House, as well as other surprises in the coming New Year.

TM Scrapbook Garage Sale!

We got this idea from Ever After in San Diego! This is your opportunity to sell your unwanted scrapbook supplies and of course pick up some new ones too! More details to follow next month. Mark your calendars and start cleaning out your stash!

TM Open House Events
Welcome to our house! TM's Open House events are less formal than a traditional class environment but with the same creative experience.

Creative Cafe Happy Hours
Join us bi-weekly at our Art Bar to create a variety of fabulous but simple projects that don't require lots of time. Hosted by Beth Bergner, our first Happy Hour is Tuesday, January 15th from 11am-Noon. Check our class calendar for details. See you at the Bar!

Valentine Card Open House

This year we want everyone to receive a handmade Valentine card! And it will be easy at one of our Open House events. Check our class calendar for details.

As you can see, we have lots planned for the first few months of 2008 and look forward to announcing several other events we have planned in the months to come!

Don't let another year go by without taking some time to scrapbook your photos. Please don't let them just accumulate on CD's, hidden where no one can enjoy them. You don't have to do all the fancy stuff, that's the beauty of scrapbooking, you choose how to create your own pages and projects. The important thing is to create them so friends, family and YOU can enjoy them!
