October Newsletter (A Little Late)

Store Update
We love our new location and are settling in very nicely. We still have people going to the old store across the street and asking the new business owners what happened to us - so let your friends know where we are! Beyond a few decorating touches we are done with the store and really like how it turned out!

Scrapping at the Store
Now that the kids are back in school, it's fun to see Mom's coming in to scrap again! Last week, all of our crop tables were being used today during the day - such fun to see all that creativity in one place!

Fall is also a great time to get out on a Friday night with friends and enjoy a Midnight Madness Crop from 6pm-Midnight. The camaraderie between us women is fun to watch and be a part of because we all share the same passion. Beginning October 1st we will begin a new Midnight Madness "Madness Card". When you have purchased five Midnight Madness evenings, you get your sixth night for FREE!!

We have also been asked by many Friday night scrappers, "Can we stay later?" In response to this request we are now going to offer one Friday Night themed crop a month. Molly & Betsy have created some great themes for the coming months. We kick off with the Frightening Friday Crop on Friday, October 26th. It will be from 6pm-1am and as you can probably guess it will be Halloweened themed! The fee for these themed crops will be a little bit more but that's because of all the extras that have been added to the evening. See details below about this crop.

Classes
If Friday night crops are not good for you, try a class during the week. Our teachers have come up with some fabulous fall classes, so come in or check the website for a sneak peak!

Catherine has designed a wonderful "Gift Card" class for next week (Thursday, Oct. 4th), which includes four different projects to hold gift cards for birthdays or holidays. A shopper last week liked one of the projects so much that she actually stole it (we were a bit shocked ourselves)! No worries, Catherine has made another sample and it is now tied down (as are all of our class projects).

Laura's "Favorite Family Recipes Book" class is amazing and therefore already FULL! We have added a second date on Tuesday, October 16th, so others don't miss out! I didn't even get my name in on the list quick enough and I want the book for myself! As you can see, our teachers have been hard at work. November classes open October 1st, so check those out also! Don't wait too long as classes are filling very quickly.

Tour de Crop Bus Tour
We are working hard on organizing our upcoming bus tour! We have 45 "tourists" signed up so far and can take only five more.We guarantee a great time and lots of "freebies", so don't wait too much longer to sign up as we officially close the tour on Thursday, October 11th, as we have a lot of personalization & prepwork that goes into this event.Don't be afraid to come on your own as we have several tourists traveling solo and we are one crazy group all together anyways!!

Treasured Memories Design Team
I am excited to announce that we will have a Treasured Memories Design Team in place by January 2008. You will see more page samples as well as projects in the store and on our website to help stimulate your creative juices and give you great ideas each month! More details to follow in the coming months.

We continue to get new product in almost daily, so keep checking our "New Product" section of the web site as Melissa is diligently updating it. Or better yet come in and see all of the great holiday papers and gift ideas around the store!

Happy Scrapbooking.
