Well, I am sure glad this summer has come to an end!! It was challenging to say the least, but all is well. I think "starting over" should be my theme for this newsletter!
My Husband
Thank you to all of my wonderful customers & friends who have inquired about my husband's recuperation after his quadruple bypass in June. He is doing really well & looks great!He too is starting over with a new lease on life.
New Location & Product Re-Organizing
We are starting over with the store as well! Our move across the street is complete and we have been open for almost four weeks now. We've received some very positive feedback regarding the product reconfiguration by "theme". Everyone loves the store colors and the layout of the crop room is both warm and inspiring.
New Products!
We have soooo much new product from the CHA summer show already in, with more coming everyday. My favorites so far are Basic Grey's Mellow, Recess and Periphery lines as well as the entire Anna Griffin Christmas line. The New Product Section of the website has been updated, so please check it out or better yet come in to touch & feel it all (and maybe pick up a few of your new favorites).
Back-to-School for Scrappers
September always marks Back-to-School for scrappers at Treasured Memories and this year is no exception! I am very excited about the NEW Class & Event Calendar section on our website! Now you will be able to click directly on the class or event and see the description & supplies needed as well as a picture of the class! Molly (teacher/website guru) is constantly finding fun, new and improved ways to get you important information!
Upcoming Classes & New Teacher
We also have a new teacher! Her name is Catherine and she is very creative and talented! She has created a card class perfect for the upcoming Christmas and Hanukah holidays - you choose four, they are all beautiful! The samples are displayed directly behind the check-out counter. Catherine will also be working in the store a few hours a week, so you may get to know her in that capacity as well.Laura didn't take the summer off! She has created three great classes in September - remember you can now see pictures of all three when you click on class in our new Calendar! Molly has a few spaces left in her "ever popular" Cricut class, so don't wait too long to sign up as space is limited in this class.
So, as you can see, we here at Treasured Memories have our own new beginnings for the fall, so I encourage you to also "start over" and begin scrapping if you have let it go for months or even years! Life is precious and you deserve some "you" time, or time to work on a hobby with friends. Check out our free crop time during the day or join us for one of our Friday night Midnight Madness crops.
